spring omnipotent goddess Thou
dost stuff parks
with overgrown pimply
chevaliers and gumchewing giggly


damosels Thou dost
persuade to serenade
his lady the musical tom-cat

into crossing sidewalks the
unwary june-bug and the frivolous
angleworm
Thou dost hang canary birds in parlour windows


Spring slattern of seasons
you have soggy legs
and a muddy petticoat

Also this is in honor of my move to a new office at work--just around the corner from the old office--where I now have a semi-private desk next to a big window. There is a large duck pond outside--it's pretty much all I can see, besides the road into the office complex. There are several actual ducks and many aggressively stupid Canadian geese. I love them, especially when they insist on walking across the street and blocking traffic.
