Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have been approached to play Stanley and Stella Kowalski in a revival of A Streetcar Named Desire, opening early next year. Now, I like Will Smith well enough. I’ll see a movie just because he’s in it. Hancock? Love it. I Am Legend? Awesome. Men in Black? I’ll watch it every time I catch it on TV. And for real, Seven Pounds was fucking genius....

I like M. Night Shyamalan’s movies alright (except Unbreakable…bores me to tears) but this is awful. And I’ve read that even as a man of color himself, he’s defending the casting choices. That really disappoints me.
