i just edited this post to add that that song, the lyrics i posted on that page, was actually one of the songs that was sort of...influential to me when i first started writing. which may sound cheesy, but. it's just such nice imagery and the tone is so...ephemeral and...lonely and hopeful at the same time. just the qualities that i try to get across in my own writing--or at least in the pieces that i actually like.
