hmmm apparently something i wrote a few weeks ago just posted...i vaguely remember it not working back when i wrote it. the posting mechanism not working, that is. ah well, there you have it.

i realize i haven't posted anything in a couple of months, and life has gotten so good and so weird at the same time. but i have such a headache right now. perhaps later i can say something more profound...
