Saw American Idiot on Broadway last week. It was actually really good. (I had my doubts—I mean, a Green Day musical? Really?)

Pros: Cool set design, excellent singing, St. Jimmy, fat chick dancing! (And fat dude, but he didn’t dance as much.)

Cons: Live version of “21 Guns” much less powerful than studio-recorded version, didn’t include “Governator.” Not sure how they would have, but it would have been excellent. I love that song.

ETA: When I say “fat chick dancing!” I mean it in a totally positive, excited, awesome way. As a fat chick myself, I enjoy seeing larger sisters out there in the spotlight shakin what God gave em.
