Years ago I saw Glen Phillips do this song with Nickel Creek (a couple of whom are here) at Joe’s Pub in NYC. It was truly magical, and I’m not saying that in any sort of sarcastic way. Just 10 weeks after giving birth to baby Blue Ivy, the “Irreplaceable” singer, 30, donned a navy curve-hugging, sophisticated dress by designer Victoria Beckham. Of course, it sounds like she had a little help! According to Star magazine, trainer Marco Borges lived with her for two-a-day workouts at 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. B has also been “living on protein shakes, egg-white omelets, pineapple chunks, and lots of ice-cold water” to “have a better body than ever.” (3/19/2012)

Wow. Must be super-nice to have a live-in trainer, and obviously a staff of cooks and nannies, and the time and energy to do two workouts a day. My son is 14 months old, I’m about 20 lbs up from my pre-preg weight, and I’ve only recently been able to fit in maybe a half hour of walking a day, and not every day. And when I do it usually involves sacrificing something else that needs to be done at the same time.

But yeah. Good for you, lady. You’re looking darn good.
